Annual report design

For 5 years I designed the annual report for Criar Institute, which had to be always a square format and black and white. We chose to be very graphic and it worked very well.

I always had lot of fun doing, even though it was a big and extensive job. I had a great time with Juliana Cookie and she was in charge for this project and always hand me the files with such an organisation that was amazing!

LIGHT, CAMERA, SOCIAL ACTION

Founded in 2003 by TV presenter Luciano Huck, the Institute of TV, Cinema and New Media Creation aims to promote the professional, sociocultural and personal development of young people through the audiovisual sector. Each year, 150 young people, aged between 17 and 20 years and in a situation of social and economic vulnerability, have technical and socio-cultural backgrounds.

MANIFEST 

THE EDUCATION WE BELIEVE IN

Audiovisual is a device that enables young people to have a formative and creative experience of transforming themselves and the world in which they live. It is for us starting and finishing point.

We recognize different knowledge as culture. Everyone has culture. Everyone has to know. Everyone knows. Here we look at each other's culture - it is the raw material of education.

The culture of peace overcomes violence. Exchanges and shares develop people. We appreciate co-responsibility, rather than obligation. For us, an educator is one who leads someone to meet with them: all are teachers and we learn together.

We believe in the city as an educational space. Education takes place, in the streets, in the squares, museums, cinemas and theaters. The street, the neighborhood and the city belongs to us. We want to know and take ownership of the center and the periphery, intervene in the urban space and participate in the discussions about the city.

We appreciate community mobilization initiatives. We believe that there are many ways of being in the world. Not one way. We are betting on the search for new autonomous, collaborative and collective forms of production that reinvent labor relations.

We value commitment to future generations, with the principles of democratic society, respect for human rights and cultural diversity that instigate reflection, bring about behavioral and cultural changes.

Recognizing and welcoming sensations, emotions and thoughts that are alive in us contributes to the development process of each one.

For us art is the sharing of the sensitive. Generosity is the hallmark of distribution. Dialogue occurs when there is listening and speaking. We believe that questions are better than answers. Here, we believe that everyone has a place for speech. Self-knowledge helps to recreate the way of being and being in the world. We encourage each one to build his road of knowledge.
